Graley this is a fantastic piece! I too wish I could be in Denmark with my favorite Dylan minds.

I loved this and I am thrilled that I will get to hear the rest in Odense.

I loved this so much. I think you pick up on a lot of crucial subtext that I had previously missed (despite having gone back to this chapter a lot of late). Thank you for this! And i can't wait to hear your paper in Denmark!

Such a beautiful and provocative piece, Graley! I pulled my POMS off the shelf, listened to these songs, and let my mind wander the terrain of Dylan and emotion/tears, gender, how this may have evolved over the decades. I so wish I could be in Denmark for this! It's going to be a real treat.

Gosh...if Ray and Nelson don't make it into the Denmark talk, what will?? Really enjoyed this essay.

Is your piece from Denmark posted anywhere?

Not yet. There are some thoughts (or just wishful thinking?) that pieces from the conference might appear in an upcoming issue of The Dylan Review. So I'm holding off posting it to Shadow Chasing until I know if DR calls dibs. But I definitely plan on sharing it one way or another--thanks for asking, Julie!
